Alternate Torque Rotational clutch test bench ATR
The Alternate Torque Rotational test bench (ATR) allows to apply a servo-controlled alternate torque to a clutch disk or fly wheel damper while the specimen is rotating at a speed varying from zero to 6000 rpm.
Servo2000 has realised a system able to apply torque of + / - 1 kNm , or + / - 1 degree up to 60 Hz, while the component is rotating with a varying speed from zero to 6000 rpm.
The peculiarity of the Servo2000 system consists in the possibility to film the behaviour of components in rotation with the maximum image stability by means of a low cost videocamera.
The video shows the recording of the behaviour of a clutch disk damper submitted to centrifugal forces generated by the rotation of the disk from zero to 6000 rpm.
