Electronics data acquisition SIGMA

The data acquisition electronics SIGMA (SIGnal Monitoring and Acquisition) allows the logging of up to 16 single channels or 8 differential. A newer version has extended the number of channels to 32 with additional four channels that are user selected combination of the acquired ones.

Besides the data acquisition of analogue channel , SIGMA allows the acquisition of I/O status for controlling external devices. Furthermore the software allows the display of monitors with the indication of: instantaneous , average, rms, maximum and minimum.

A four traces digital oscilloscope allows the display of the selected signals.

For low frequency phenomena it is useful to see the trend of the test on GraphMonitors that works similar to the old X-Y plotter. The software allows the setting of limits for each channel that in combination with digital limits can stop external devices.
